Tantalus was placed in a pool of water, beneath a fruit tree with low branches. There, the chief god devised a punishment that became a proverbial term for temptation. Zeus destroyed Tantalus, then personally took his soul to Hades, the underworld of Greek mythology. His extensive collection, which includes educational software of all subjects and for all ages, is an excellent example of the merging of work and play, and helps encourage us all to remember that 'Play is our brain's favorite way of learning. Zeus then turned on Tantalus, and subjected him to the wrath of the gods.
